Approximately 250 athletes of all ages participated in the 1st
Annual SEMO All-Comers Meet at the Show-Me Center Recreation Center. Teams and individuals from as far away as
Kansas City, Memphis, and St. Louis joined the locals to kick-off what will
hopefully become a yearly Cape Girardeau sports tradition.
Coach Ryan Lane and members of the Southeast track and field
team directed the two male and female divisions (School/Open-Masters) through
the eighteen events with near flawless execution. There were many positive comments and Ryan
commented that several groups plan to bring more open and masters runners next
year.
